Who can see my record book?

Only you, until you hand it over.

Can an agent see my record book?

Only if you agree. An agent can ask to open a home’s record book, and you agree or decline each request. If you agree, the agent sees it read only.

Do I have to ask my tradesperson every time?

No. Papers already in your inbox can be forwarded to your Heimsure email address, and automatic forwarding can be set up once in Gmail or Outlook. Tradespeople can also send to that address when you give it to them.

I own more than one home.

One account can hold any number of homes. In this filing example, every home gets its own email address, and each paper is kept with the home it belongs to.

What happens when I sell?

You give the new owner a handover link. They open the record book and can download the original papers.

What is paid?

Heimsure is free for homeowners when it opens, and downloading your own record stays free. Agent listing pages are separate.

Is it only for Queensland?

Heimsure starts with Queensland. You can keep a record for a home in another state, but the rule checks and public records cover Queensland only for now. Other states are planned.

What if Heimsure closes?

You can download your papers as files at any time.
